Steve Sidelnyk's Football Blog 19th June 2014....The BIG One!

We are here again ………make or break?……….boom or bust?……….glory or shame?
In a few hours England take on Uruguay in a game the realistically has to be won for them to stay in the FIFA World Cup 2014…………..NO PRESSURE : O )
After a plucky match against the Italians on Saturday which saw England manager Roy Hodgson play many young players mixed with some experience and the team perform well only to be un-done by a Mario Balotelli goal, it seemed to be the same old story. BUT given the fact that current World Cup Holders were sent packing by firstly a brilliant Holland side and then truly served by a red hot Chilean team last night it seems like its anybody’s cup right now!
A little side-note when Daniel Sturridge scored the England goal from a great build up from Raheem Sterling and a much criticised Wayne Rooney, the team’s physio Gary Lewin in celebrating the goal in the technical area, managed to dislocate his ankle and was stretchered off!!!!!……..Get well Gary! : O )
Headline news really i…

Meet Claire Cordingley from London  who moved to LA 2 years ago to pursue acting

Was there a particular reason you chose LA ?
There is so much opportunity here as an artist and I love the weather and healthy outdoor lifestyle
What one thing do you miss from home?
My family.
What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus the UK?
I think the biggest difference is the " Just go for it "mentality. People here seem more willing to take risks and go for their dreams.
Do you have a hidden gem in LA that you want to share with us?
The Labyrinth and Meditation gardens in Hollywood.
What would you suggest to others who are thinking about making the move here ?
Do it! Come willing to hustle and make your dreams a reality.
Lastly , how can we find you on the Internet ?

You can find me at this blog - and I am currently in rehearsal for a great British play- Tickets available here
