Cecconi's West Hollywood Closed Christmas Day Open for Brunch 11 am on Boxing Day Open for NYE FIRST SEATING: $95/person includes a 4 course menu and champagne toast upon arrival. Anytime from 5pm - 7pm. (Please note... ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE OUT BY 8:30PM so we can prep tables for dinner party)  SECOND SEATING: $165/person includes a four course menu, champagne toast  at midnight and entrance to our New Year’s Eve Party!!!  DJ, Dancing, Photo booth, Party Favors - the whole nine yards!!! From 9pm onward.  Guests will have their table for the entire night. A credit card is needed to hold all reservations.

Was there a particular reason you chose LA ?
In all honesty the boring reason was LA chose us - I couldn't afford to work in London on a director's wage with two pre-schoolers, I was brought up abroad so the husband and I decided to try somewhere else for while - he got offered a job first, it was here, here we are! We now finally have our Green Cards though so I can wrestle myself out of the shackles of home-making (bleurgh) and am starting to direct theatre again, have set up my own company Ferment Theatre and am in the throes of rehearsals and fundraising for an epic double bill by the brilliant cult figure British playwright Philip Ridley. It's going to open in New York in January and then hopefully transfer here during Britweek. Meet A Member - Shaun Christie

Meet Shaun Christie from the Shetland Isles who moved to LA 8 years ago to pursue a woman (namely his wife Lisa, a CA native)

Was there a particular reason you chose LA ?
My wife (fiance at the time) is from California but she lived in Edinburgh, Scotland with me in 2007 for 6 months before her visa expired and she had to return to her homeland of Los Angeles. So we came back in winter of 2007 and tied the knot. I also had a degree in music business which was more useful to me in a city like LA than back in Edinburgh where the music industry was very tiny and heavily bagpipe based. Luckily it all worked out as my wife and I are still happily married & have a lovely 3 year old son called Oliver. I was also lucky enough to land a job working at CBS Records which kicked started off my US music industry career and have been lucky enough to get to work along some of the most talented musicians in the industry (I also chatted on the phone with Robert Redford about "Carmageedon" …
