DOUBLE BILL at The New Beverly - Two Classics for the price of One

Meet Amy Hoff from Minnesota, originally, but lived in Glasgow for many years, who moved to LA a few weeks ago to pursue writing, directing, and acting.

Was there a particular reason you chose LA?
Yes; I have been working on films in Scotland and it seemed like the next logical step if I wanted to pursue a career in the film and television industry. I am here in LA in order to find work as a writer, director, and actor, with a particular interest in episodic, 1-hour television dramas with paranormal themes.
What do you miss most from home?
The Scottish sense of humour, and good public transit! From Glasgow in particular, I miss my cast and crew; I worked with the same group of people over the last seven years and they are wonderful people. Islay, my favourite island. I've only been away for a few weeks so I haven't had much time to miss things yet!

What was your first impression of LA and has it changed since?
It's very warm! After many years in Glasgow it will take some time…
